Introduction :
Johnson Single Wire Wrapped
Screens are used world over for better sand control in gravel
pack jobs. These pipe base screens are manufactured with
strict quality standards to be at par with international
standards.
The screen jackets are
manufactured by spirally wounding narrow faced Vee-Wire around
a cage of longitudinal support rods. Each intersection point
of these wires is fusion welded. These jackets are then
mounted over seamless pipe of API specification which is
perforated as per international standards to ensure flow
performance, and then both ends of jacket are welded on to the
seamless pipe.
Johnson single wire wrapped
screen are manufactured with 2 3/8" , 2 7/8" and 3
1/2" diameter of seamless base pipe having 9 feet, 15
feet and 30 feet lengths. The commonly used material of base
pipe is J-55, L-80 & N-80 grade.
The Jackets are manufactured
from SS-304 grade of Stainless Steel.
